A Danube garden that is second to none: GARTEN TULLN is a permanent institution and model project in sustainable and ecologically sound gardening along with being Europe's first ecological garden show. Nestled in the riverside woodlands along the Danube, the grounds are in an enchanting setting that combines seas of blossoms and grassy islands with ponds and walking paths.

The 70 show and model gardens are tended in keeping with criteria drawn up by the association "Natur im Garten" (Nature in the Garden). As a result, GARTEN TULLN has a host of great ideas for amateur gardeners as well as being an excursion destination for nature lovers and an adventure land for families. Every year, visitors can look forward to unique experiences in the individual gardens, along the 30-meter-high treetop trail, and on Lower Austria's largest natural adventure playground.

DID YOU KNOW...?

In the nearby Wasserpark, revitalized side arms of the Danube and an attractive system of paths offer a very special encounter with nature for all visitors, including those with limited mobility. On five kilometers of waterways, the branched water system can be explored in a canoe or a paddle boat along with the biodiverse range of natural plants along the banks and in the water.
