A special part of Austrian wine culture has lived in the city center of Krems an der Donau since 1452 - the Stadt Krems winery. This makes it one of the oldest existing wineries in the world. What is even more original is that the town not only houses the estate, but is also its sole owner.
Team Weingut Stadt Krems, under the management of Fritz Miesbauer since 2003, is all about the Grüne Veltliner and Riesling varieties. The wines tell of the origin of the grapes, the character of the region and the individuality of the grape varieties. Authenticity is paramount, each wine has its own special taste.
