Winzerhof Tiefenböck-Flecher is a small, family-run business with a great history and a lot of heart - the family has been cultivating its vineyards in the 4th generation since 1915. Birgit Tiefenböck-Flecher is right in the middle of the action, personally taking care of everything from the vineyards to the cellar work to the wine tavern. Her daughter Lisa Flecher brings fresh impetus to the business: with internships abroad, her training as a master winemaker and cellarer and additional organic certification, she drives tradition and innovation forward at the same time.
The farm's vineyards are located around Furth bei Göttweig, at the foot of Göttweig Abbey, on soils made up of loess, clay and, in places, primary rock. On these soils, white wines such as Grüne Veltliner and Riesling in particular develop their full potential.
The Tiefenböck-Flecher wine tavern is deeply rooted in history: Anna "Nandl" Tiefenböck began serving wine tavern fare outdoors in the courtyard back in 1969. Later, a separate Heurigen restaurant was built, which has been expanded and modernized over the years without losing its rustic charm. A shady garden invites you to spend balmy summer evenings.
The wine tavern awaits guests with a warm, down-to-earth atmosphere - and of course with high-quality wines from the house as well as tasty snacks from our own production.
