Why Ahoi Wachau? Because the Wachau is more than just a World Heritage Site, a tourist region and a place of pleasure. For us, it is home, a haven of peace and a place that still fascinates us every day, even after more than 30 years of exploration. Life on the Danube is actually routine for us. But when routine is perceived as something special, it's time to inspire people with it. Gerald Geith & Michael Reichl are the people behind Ahoi Wachau and two Wachau natives. And anyone who is not familiar with this term is strongly advised to join them on a journey through one of the last free-flowing sections of the Danube in Austria.

Because the wooden path is the right one.
The two Wachauers navigate the Danube, a formative element in the Wachau Valley, in its most original way - in classic, hand-crafted wooden zills. The Danube section SPITZ - LOIBEN UND RETOUR is recommended as a long Wachau tour, for which you should allow approx. 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can embark and disembark in almost any Wachau village.

The best wines of the Wachau
and a large chest of ice cream are included on every Ahoi Wachau tour. From the classic vineyard tour with a professional explanation of the wines and vineyard sites, to the chilled after-work tour with spritzers, gin and tonics and house beats, we adapt to your needs. But one thing always remains the same... without any time pressure, we now head downstream, carried by the great river and with our thoughts in the here and now.
