Pleasure cyclists are led on this leisurely discovery route of 37 kilometers to the most unusual gardens of the Wagram region – from the tasty snack garden near Königsbrunn, through the historic courtyard garden at Stetteldorf Castle, to the mystical Alchemist Park at the Alchemist Museum in Kirchberg am Wagram. The panoramic route along the upper Wagram ridge offers spectacular views far over the Danube – the quaint wine taverns along the route stand out with delicacies from the Wagram cellars.

We leave Kirchberg heading east, riding past the Alchemist Park and along the upper part of the Wagram ridge. On the right, a beautiful view opens over the Danube plain. After passing through Unterstockstall, we reach the wine cellar alley of Königsbrunn. Not far from Königsbrunn in Absberg is the next long and beautiful wine cellar alley in the Wagram region. Next follows an idyllic section along the Schmidamühlbach stream. Through Stetteldorf we cycle in a loop past the foot of Stetteldorf Castle with its historic courtyard garden, which overlooks the Danube plain directly at the edge of the terrain. Now the route turns southwest and continues relaxed on the plain to Absdorf. The signage guides us between fields and meadows to Bierbaum am Kleebühel and Frauendorf an der Au. As the name suggests, here we reach the outskirts of the Danube floodplains. In front of the over 900-year-old church in Winkl, with its fresco from the 12th century, there is a very beautiful and shady rest area under trees, inviting you to take a break. Refreshed, we continue to Neustift im Felde and further over Dörfl back to the Gebietsvinothek in Kirchberg. This route is also highly suitable for guests arriving by bike from Tulln and joining the route in Stetteldorf.
