Aufreiter's Wein & Marille in Angern near Krems is a culinary and eventful calling card of the Wachau. The traditional family business combines two passions: excellent wines and aromatic apricot products.

Aufreiter's is particularly well-known for its fine apricot creations: from fruity-sweet apricot strudel and homemade apricot dumplings to fine apricot desserts in a glass. Aromatic apricot juices, liqueurs or the popular Aufreiter's apricot frizzante are served alongside - a refreshing specialty for connoisseurs.

The culinary offer is complemented by a varied range of experiences:

• Lilli's apricot garden in Paudorf invites you to take a stroll between blossoming or fruiting apricot trees and offers interesting facts about growing apricots in the Wachau.
• The apricot adventure trail combines exercise in nature with informative stations where visitors can learn more about the history, care and processing of apricots.
• In the farm store, guests will find a large selection of Aufreiter products - from fine wines and apricot specialties to handmade jams and fine gift ideas.

During a guided tasting or an excursion to the apricot gardens, you can experience the Wachau way of life with all your senses - culinary, cultural and close to nature at the same time.
