The Leopold Figl Warte is located on the Tulbinger Kogel (494 m), the highest elevation in the district of Tulln. It is about a 10-minute walk from the Berghotel Tulbingerkogel. The view stretches as far as the Alps and the Danube.
During the Second World War, the Holzwarte was cut down by the German Wehrmacht. In 1967, a new concrete lookout point was built on the same spot, the well-known Leopold Figl Warte, which still attracts many hikers and walkers today.
