In the picturesque winegrowing village of Loiben near Dürnstein, the wine tavern of the Wolfgang Bäuerl winery regularly opens its doors and offers guests a culinary break in a relaxed atmosphere. Wachau wine diversity

The focus is on its own wine: Weingut Bäuerl is known for its characterful Wachau white wines - above all Grüne Veltliner, Riesling and Muskateller, grown on renowned vineyards such as Loibenberg, Kellerberg and Burgberg. The wines are vinified by hand and reflect the unique terroir of the region. Guests can experience them directly on site by the glass or in guided tastings.

Regional cuisine

The wine tavern serves classic wine tavern cuisine with hot and cold delicacies to accompany the wine: from Wachau bacon platters to spreads and hearty meat dishes. Many of the ingredients come from regional farms - quality and origin are paramount. Vegetarian and seasonal dishes are also on offer.
