The Babenbergerhof in Ybbs an der Donau is a well-established inn run by the Ernst and Karin Gruber-Rosenberger family. Due to the ever-increasing demand for guest rooms, the Gruber-Rosenberger family decided to build the new "Danube Lodge" directly on the Danube (boat landing stage just 200m away), a hotel that stands for sustainability in every respect. Modern and functional, built in wood to emphasize the proximity to the Waldviertel and the Danube, the Danube Lodge is uniquely located directly on the Danube, directly on the Danube cycle path Passau-Vienna with a view over the Danube to Maria Taferl and the Waldviertel. We offer 27 non-smoking rooms of various categories (2 to 4 persons). Experience spacious rooms, up to the unique suite (24 to 54m²), mostly with balcony. Two rooms are handicapped accessible, the house is barrier-free.
