Thomas Ott's family winery is located in the heart of the Traisental valley, which has a wine tradition dating back thousands of years. For him, viticulture has a lot to do with harmony and balance. The aim is to keep the vineyards in their natural balance, which means that very little intervention is necessary. The wines also benefit from the special microclimate of the Traisental. Pannonian influences provide warmth and sunshine, while Atlantic currents bring cool air, which plays an important role in the development of the aromas. The vineyards, some of which are tiny terraced vineyards, mainly grow Grüne Veltliner and Riesling. The very calcareous soil promotes the minerality and makes the wines unmistakable.

Tip: Visit the winemaker on site at the wine tavern. Home-made specialties are served alongside the matching wines.
