The Staudenmayer family has been growing wine in the small wine-growing village of Wetzmannsthal near Herzogenburg for generations and producing the best quality is a matter of honor here. All work in the vineyard is carried out by hand, short pruning, yield reduction and harvesting at the optimum time are the prerequisites for bringing the best into the bottle. The heart of the winery is the wine tavern, furnished in a friendly and cozy way with lots of light wood, where the tiled stove provides the decisive feel-good factor in spring. In summer, on the other hand, you can sit in the shady wine arbor and enjoy fresh, fruity varietal wines and a fine Heurigen snack with specialties such as smoked trout from our own farm.
