Weinbau & Heurige Stoiber is located in the middle of the vineyards on the Weinzierlberg in Krems. The family business is deliberately small-scale and offers classic Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) wines, from fruity Grüne Veltliners to powerful Rieslings. These can be enjoyed in the wine tavern with homemade wine tavern classics, as well as seasonal dishes, organic sheep's cheese with pesto, asparagus salad or pumpkin all sorts, and regional specialties from the house smoked pork to roast carpaccio. Ever since the winery was founded in 1958, regionality and sustainability have played an important role for the family, and the special approach of always offering something new and culinary interesting makes a visit to the Weinzierlberg worthwhile!
The wine tavern is open in July/August, October/November and December from Tuesday to Sunday from 4.00 pm. The exact opening times can be found on the website www.stoiber-wein.at. Wines and juices can be purchased daily from the farm, please call 0680/2364904 to book in advance.
