The third stage leads from Petronell-Carnuntum with its impressive Roman city of Carnuntum to Maria Ellend, where you can visit the pilgrimage church and the Lourdes grotto. The fourth stage from Maria Ellend to Schwechat includes a particularly beautiful stretch through the Donau-Auen National Park.
