Come to the wonderland of garden fantasy and let yourself be enchanted by the colorful spectacle of flowers, the creative garden design ideas, the unforgettable places with fantastic views and vistas. Every season - from the awakening of spring to the magic of Advent - has its own charm and is a garden experience for all the senses.

The 50 themed gardens on an area of over 60,000 m² take you on a journey through the world of gardens and the daily program offers variety, fun and lots of interesting facts. Garden lovers can look and marvel, nature lovers can enjoy and linger and adventure seekers can discover games, fun and excitement.

It is a true paradise for families. The large adventure garden with an animal farm garden is particularly unique. There is a family slide and an adrenaline slide, water fun is provided by the rafting and the stream, the little ones have fun in the gnome garden and the climbing wall is dizzying. Animal friends such as alpacas, ponies, dwarf goats and rabbits are also an integral part of the daily program.

Garden restaurant

Treat yourself to some time out and start the day with a relaxed breakfast (until 11 a.m.) in the sunny Glas.Haus garden restaurant under the palm trees or sit and relax on the sun terrace, listen to the splashing of the waterfall and enjoy a day's vacation at Kittenberger.

Homemade seasonal soups and our vitamin-packed salad bar await you from 11 am.

In our show kitchen, our garden chefs grill and cook your chosen dish fresh, prepared with ingredients from regional farms.
Pasta with herb pesto, the kitten burger, the vegan burger, the pike-perch fillet with creamed vegetables and rice, the beef goulash, the roasted chicken fillet with wok vegetables and wedges or the salad with grilled chicken strips are just a small selection of what we offer. We also have special dishes for our younger guests, such as witches' spaghetti and garden burgers. You can also look forward to seasonal dishes of the day, both hearty and vegetarian.

Homemade pies, cakes (also gluten-free) and strudels - made according to grandma's recipe - as well as vegan apple pie round off the taste experience. And for ice cream fans, there is Waldviertel ice cream or real Italian ice cream in our ice cream counter.

Cool drinks, homemade juices, Grander water, Zwettler or Brauschneider beer and excellent coffee are served by our staff at the bar. The wine list offers a foray through the greater community of Langenlois.

The Garten.Jause in the animal farm garden is also open daily for you and offers hearty snacks for in-between meals and a wonderful atmosphere to take a short break in the sun or under umbrella plane trees.

In the garden bistro you can enjoy the classic Leberkässemmel or a Speckstangerl, as well as pastries and refreshing drinks.

Garden Center

The garden center invites you to browse and store all year round. From young plants and Reinhard Kittenbergers' tomato rarities to tasteful garden decorations, there is something for every gardener's heart.

Events during the Easter period

Numerous events such as concerts, exhibitions and garden design days invite young and old to spend exciting hours in the Kittenberger adventure gardens all year round. A highlight in summer is the children's musical Ritter Rost (Knight Rust) - a colorful program with face painting, crafts and lots of fun and games in the adventure garden awaits the young guests on the play days.

13:30 (Mon-Fri): Herbology - visit our herb expert (herb hut, garden no. 20a)
2 p.m.: Animal training live - our animal friends learn tricks & keep fit & agile with exercise! (Garden no. 19)

Bus/Train
From Langenlois train station, you can take the 712 bus to the "Untere Straße" stop. From there it is 120 m to the Excursion destinations. Or

Shuttle service
ELITE TOURS is at your disposal as a shuttle service. You can travel from Vienna to Schiltern and back all year round. The bus stops directly at the adventure gardens. It is necessary to book in advance with ELITE TOURS.
