Wines of the highest quality are produced at the Thomas Heinrich family winery - the whole family gets involved here. Our vineyards are located in the Traisental wine-growing region and cover an area of 4.5 hectares. The vines grow on dry, very calcareous, gravelly soils. Special climatic factors bring warm days and cool nights and thus ensure very fine aromas and spicy finesse in the wines. The main focus is on Grüner Veltliner. The Grüne Veltliner - Ried Eichberg is something very special. In no other wine do you feel as much connection and depth as in this one. This is where our heart opens. Complete identification, true to the motto "Do bin i her, do ghea i hin".

Wine tavern to the parish cellar

This is the motto of our modern yet traditionally furnished wine tavern in the wine cellar lane on Eichberg.
Together with the Ahrenberger wine cellar lane, the "Ahrenberger-Eichberger Kellergasse" is the longest wine cellar lane in Austria that is open all year round.
It is also a popular starting point for numerous hikes such as the "Weinwanderweg" or to the famous "Korkenzieher" observation tower.
Enjoy our homemade food and drinks after a long walk or a romantic summer evening in our gazebo with a view of the vineyards of the Eichberg vineyard. Our wine tavern offers space for 200 guests.

Originally, the press house in the Eichberg wine cellar lane was owned by the Augustinian canons of Herzogenburg. My grandfather Karl Heinrich acquired the cellar and has been running the wine tavern in the old monastery cellar ever since. My father Johann Heinrich renovated the restaurant in 1998 and named it "Heuriger zum Pfarrkeller".
