The new Josef Reither Museum opened by Governor Dr. Erwin Pröll not only bears witness to Reither's economic and political diversity as a farmer, as mayor in 1912 in the imperial era, later governor of Lower Austria, federal minister for agriculture and forestry, Austrian farmers' leader and many other functions, founder of the Tulln sugar factory,
NÖ Versicherung, NEWAG (today's EVN), NÖ Molkerei, but also the political environment of the imperial era, the European Revolution, the First and Second World Wars, his stay in a concentration camp, his death, up to the State Treaty of 1955. In this respect, this museum is a refresher for the older generation and exemplary for young people interested in politics.
