Hans and Edith Pitnauer are among the country's great winegrowing personalities. As one of the first wineries to develop wines by vineyard, they wrote Austrian wine history with their "Bienenfresser". They now also produce wines such as the single-varietal Syrah "Pegasos", the Merlot "Quo Vadis" and the red cuvée "Franz Josef". The spicy, fruity white wines such as Grüne Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc and Gelber Muskateller are also easy to drink and well-balanced. A close connection to the regional landscape, careful cultivation of the vineyards and careful handling of the grapes are a matter of course. Edith Pitnauer devotes herself with great dedication to the care of the vines. During vinification, Johannes and Hans Pitnauer ensure that the high-quality basic product from the vineyard is reflected as authentically as possible in the wine.
