In the middle of the gently rolling hills of Wagram ob der Traisen lies the Viktor Fischer organic winery - a pure family business with a clear attitude and a great passion for wine. Since 2012, young winemaker Viktor Fischer has been shaping the style of the winery, which he officially took over in 2019. His in-depth training at the Krems School of Viticulture and international work experience in Australia have resulted in a clear, independent style.
Organic since 2009 - out of conviction
The entire winery was converted to organic farming back in 2009. Since then, the focus has been on the sustainable care of the vineyards, characterized by respect for nature, soil and vines. This approach is reflected in the clarity and expressiveness of the wines.
Origin you can taste
The main varieties of the Traisental - Grüne Veltliner and Riesling - also take center stage at Viktor Fischer. Depending on the vineyard and vinification, they develop their individual character: from light and easy-drinking to structured, multi-layered and shaped by the terroir - loess or gravel.
