A stay at Bioweingut Schmidl combines relaxation and adventure in the heart of the Wachau's cultural landscape. Guests have the opportunity to be active in sports, explore the region or simply relax. The winery has been run as a family business according to organic-biological guidelines since 2009. The cultivated vineyards include Kellerberg, Küß den Pfennig, Hollerin, Wunderburg and Supperin.
Special attention is paid to the accommodation: the "Rosenstöckel" vacation apartment has been awarded the Premium bon-vivant rooms award and offers plenty of space to feel at home on around 70 m² - with two separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room and bathroom with WC. The apartment is in a quiet location, surrounded by a vineyard, an apple orchard and a sunbathing lawn. A covered seating area under the pergola and a small playground offer additional comfort in the outdoor area. A parking lot is available directly in front of the accommodation.
The central location provides easy access: The town center of Dürnstein, the train station, the Danube and a small supermarket are all within a 2 to 5-minute walk.
