"The average gives the world its existence, the extraordinary its value. " - Oscar Wilde

Our young wine-growing business began with a childhood dream: growing up in a traditional Wachau wine-growing family and familiar with working in the vineyard since childhood, I always wanted to make my own wines. The dream came true when the opportunity arose in 2019 to acquire our own vineyard in the Jochinger Ried Postaller and press our first Grüne Veltliner. From the very beginning, we were committed to the high quality standards of "Vinea Wachau". As a result, all of our wines - now also Riesling and Gelber Muskateller in addition to Grüne Veltliner - are classic representatives of the Wachau Federspiel category. The crown of our small but fine range, however, is the Grüne Veltliner Smaragd from the Ried Postaller. A wine that promises unique drinking pleasure for many years to come - just like a visit to our wine tavern in the Adam-Mühle.

Buildings tell stories. People tell stories. The shared history of the Adam-Mühle and our family was love at first sight: Attracted by the magic of the place and the enchanting character of the former watermill, we acquired the medieval gem in 2013 and carefully awakened it from its decades-long slumber.

In the course of the renovation work, it quickly became clear that the Adam Mill is much more than an ideal residence for a growing family. It is a place to live dreams and share them with guests! A place where life can be enjoyed to the full! Dreamlike, what has happened: Since 2019, the hotel's own wines have been available to taste, a rustic wine tavern and the romantic mill garden invite guests from near and far to refresh body and soul with regional specialties; two charming apartments with an idyllic garden terrace tempt you to linger, relax and unwind in the Wachau; and in summer, the ripe apricots from our orchard are also tempting.
