On around 6.5 hectares of vineyards, Anita and Klaus Koppensteiner mainly cultivate the classic Wachau white wine varieties such as Grüne Veltliner and Riesling. Many of their vineyards are terraced and are cultivated with great care, often by hand, which contributes significantly to the quality of their wines.
The Koppensteiner family's wine tavern is open three times a year. Guests can taste house wines in a family atmosphere and enjoy home-made dishes such as raw ham, smoked meat, black pudding and Liptauer. The ambience is characterized by vaulted parlors and old cellars in the Unterloibner wine cellar lane, which convey a sense of coziness and tradition.
In addition to wine, the Koppensteiners also offer homemade apricot brandy. Wine tastings are possible by appointment.
