De Daniels Aggsteinerhof is an inviting place to eat, drink, celebrate and enjoy - situated on the banks of the Danube and in the shadow of the impressive Aggstein castle ruins on the south bank of the Wachau. The charming location, surrounded by historic walls and old chestnut trees, makes the guest garden one of the most atmospheric places in the Wachau.

Chefs Patrick and Benedict Daniels blend Austrian tradition with Belgian-French flair to create a culinary experience with creative accents and seasonal highlights. Excellent fish dishes, Belgian waffles and exquisite beers as well as a high-quality selection of Wachau wines are particularly appreciated.

The menu ranges from classic Austrian specialties to creative interpretations and international dishes - such as fish dishes, game from our own hunt and typical Belgian specialties. In stylishly designed rooms such as the modern Kaminstüberl or the traditional Jägerstüberl, you can enjoy a meal together in a cozy atmosphere - with a view of the Danube and a friendly interior design.

The restaurant is wheelchair-friendly, pet-friendly, offers parking spaces, a terrace, vegetarian dishes and card payment - tour groups are also very welcome. When the weather is fine, the shady garden with a view of the Danube beckons and in summer a sunbathing lawn right on the banks invites you to linger.
