The Gästehaus Krappel is situated in a quiet, rural location on the outskirts of Rohrendorf near Krems and has been a family-run accommodation business for over two decades. Surrounded by vineyards, it offers ideal conditions for guests looking for relaxation and enjoyment in the wine-growing regions of Wachau, Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) and Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German).
Three comfortable double rooms (some for single use) with separate mattresses, shower/WC, hairdryer, room safe, desk, satellite TV and free WLAN are available. A breakfast room and lounge with wine fridge, fully equipped guest kitchen and in summer a terrace, shady arbor and garden invite you to linger.

A hearty breakfast with regional products such as pastries, bread, jams (including Wachau apricots), sausage and cheese specialties awaits guests every day - also gluten- or lactose-free if required.
The hosts organize vineyard and cellar lane hikes as well as tastings on site. Particularly popular are the guided tours of the in-house distillery "CK-Schnapsdepot" with tastings of homemade brandies and liqueurs.
The immediate surroundings offer cycling and hiking trails (e.g. Danube cycle path, Welterbesteig Wachau - Wachau World Heritage Trail), cross-country skiing, horse riding, tennis, squash and golf.
