The Heninger winery is located in the idyllic winegrowing village of Krustetten, in the southern Krems Valley ("Kremstal"), and is now a modern family business in its 4th generation. Markus Heninger, together with his partner Lisa, runs the winery with a lot of passion, energy and the ambition to reflect the quality of the grapes in the bottle.
The range includes a wide selection: classic white wines such as Grüne Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Gelber Muskateller as well as red wines such as Zweigelt and Zweigelt Reserve.Heninger attaches great importance to awards and recognition: the Grüne Veltliner Ried Goldbühel Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) DAC 2024, for example, received several gold medals (e.g. at the Austrian Wine Challenge and the Lower Austrian regional awards). The winery's wines are also regularly awarded high ratings at tastings such as the Falstaff Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) DAC Cup. The online store, through which many wines can be conveniently ordered, is also part of the experience.
The Heninger winery occasionally runs a wine tavern under the name "Heurigen zum Fink". The "Heurigen zum Fink" opens its doors four times a year. Guests are welcomed with great hospitality at Grundgasse 52, 3508 Krustetten (different from the company headquarters at Hollenburgerstraße 5) and treated to homemade, regional delicacies. Traditional delicacies, such as smoked meat from the farm's own smoked meat or home-made pastries, turn a visit to the Heurigen into an enjoyable experience. To round off the culinary delights, a glass or two of wine is of course a must.
