In the middle of Melk's pedestrian zone, directly below the baroque abbey, you will find the Café-Restaurant zum Fürsten - a traditional establishment with roots dating back to the 16th century.

The cuisine offers a successful mix of regional specialties, Austrian home cooking and international classics. Freshly prepared pastries, homemade cakes and strudel and ice cream specialties from our own production form the sweet focus, accompanied by top-quality fair trade coffee. The ice cream recipes come from the first European ice cream school and stand for handcrafted quality and unmistakable taste. Hearty dishes such as seasonal delicacies, soups, meat and fish dishes as well as vegetarian options are also on the menu.
