The "Wachauer Stube" restaurant is synonymous with excellent cuisine at the entrance to the Wachau.
The pastries with home-baked bread and three different spreads are a promising start. As far as the cuisine is concerned, the junior chef has a very clear attitude: "In my kitchen, I mainly use regional products and I am constantly on the lookout for the best producers."
All of this flows into a cuisine that combines a great deal of culinary sophistication.
The restaurant not only attracts guests from the surrounding area, but also stands for upscale dining culture. The patron of the house, Heinz Hipfinger, attaches particular importance to personal guest care, whether at a wine tasting in the "Vinothek Rebstöckl" or on a guided tour to the various pastures with the highland cattle on the family's organic farm, afterwards you can convince yourself of the quality of the products during the commented tasting.
TIP: On beautiful summer evenings, you should definitely reserve a table on the panoramic terrace.
