The "New Castle" was built between 1622 and 1630. After an eventful history, the current senior managers have turned the old, dilapidated building into a luxury hotel with a great deal of love and dedication. Now the descendants continue to run the business with the same dedication. They improve and embellish the hotel each time anew - without losing its timeless character. Everything here is stylish and tasteful down to the smallest detail. Be it the pool area, the rooms or the restaurants.

Dürnstein as a whole is a sight to behold. From the magnificent baroque church and the characteristic blue tower to the Dürnstein ruins and the picturesque old town. Spitz, Weißenkirchen and Rossatz are no less charming, but not quite as touristy.
