Our winery has grown over three generations to its current vineyard area of 5 hectares in Wösendorf in the Wachau, which is cultivated exclusively using traditional methods. Sustainability in the vineyards is not just a word for us, but a living reality. We therefore practice multiple renunciations. Even if we do not work in a decidedly organic way, we take core elements from the organic wine sector and adapt them for our own plots. For example, we have not used insecticides for many years! This not only protects our bees, but also all the other beneficial insects that are at home in our vineyards! When caring for the soil, we pay attention to maintaining and sustainably improving soil fertility.
