Our particularly rustic & traditional winery/heurigen is located in the middle of the picturesque Steiner wine cellar lane. Wine is made here in the heart of the old town in the 300-year-old wine cellar. Whether you sit in the old press house under the tree press, in the Winzerstüberl or in the cellar vault - you will always find a cozy place here.
The guest garden offers a very special ambience during the summer wine taverns. Here you can find a green spot in the middle of the old town of Stein with a view of Göttweig Abbey, which invites you to enjoy, linger and relax. Even our youngest guests don't miss out, as there is a small children's playground in the garden with swings, a sandpit, a wine barrel house and the house rabbits.
No matter what time of day or day of the week: in our guest garden at Steiner Kellergasse 38 you can now take a break all year round. In our guest garden in Krems/Stein there is a drinks vending machine which now keeps the entire range of wines and sparkling wines, Weisse-Spritzer, Hugo-Spritzer, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks chilled from 6:00 to 24:00.
"As our wine tavern is only open a few weeks a year, we wanted to give our visitors the opportunity to enjoy our wines and products chilled at the winery all year round". The vending machine is intended to appeal to cyclists, hikers, tourists and locals alike. Glasses and cups are also available in our guest garden, so you can either enjoy our products on site or take them with you.
Wine sales, tastings and vineyard walks take place all year round by appointment.
