Whether sweet, as in Wachau saffron chocolate, or spicy, as in Wachau saffron beer, the saffron flavor is very diverse and can be tasted here in combination with many different flavorings.
With a few exceptions, all products, from the golden saffron honey and the delicious saffron apricot jam to the fine saffron vinegar and salt, are produced in-house. When selecting the raw materials, special emphasis is placed on regionality and Demeter or organic quality.
The coffee terrace, which seats around 70 people, offers an incomparable view of the Dürnstein ruins and the Kellerschlössel, where you can discover the pleasurable side of the saffron renaissance. Aromatic saffron pastries and golden saffron drinks, paired with Austrian coffee house tradition, invite you to linger. Groups are very welcome.
