The Donauprinzessin is open from the beginning of March to the beginning of November and is centrally located on the B3 main road opposite the Spitz-Arnsdorf ferry. The restaurant is located directly on the Danube cycle path and the DDSG Blue Danube Schifffahrt ticket office is just a few steps away. It is a five-minute walk to both the boat landing stages and the train station. The VOR (Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region) bus stops are located directly in front of the hotel on the B3.
The food on offer ranges from homemade pizzas, changing seasonal dishes and pastries to ice cream from the in-house ice cream maker JauliMuh.
The passion of this business is handmade ice cream. Whether semifreddo, gelato or ice cream, the production of this homemade frozen treat requires the use of impeccable natural products such as water, milk, cream, sugar, egg yolks and first-class flavoring ingredients such as fruit, vanilla, nuts and chocolate. New ice cream cups are created throughout the season and the changing range in the ice cream counter is adapted to the season and regional products.
The Hagmann family from Krems relies on over 175 years of experience to offer guests first-class, high-quality confectionery. Whether Wachau cake, apricot soufflé slices or Kalmuck cake, there is something for every sweet tooth!
Pizzas have been served in the Donauprinzessin since 1988 and guests are constantly surprised and pampered with new creations.
The restaurant has 25 seats inside, 20 seats in the conservatory and 70 seats on the terrace with a view of the Danube.
