The Müller&Gartner bakery is located at the gateway to Marchfeld. You can "taste" craftsmanship, tradition, creativity and naturalness in all of the family business's products. Müller&Gartner is one of the few bakeries in Austria where no industrial premixes are used. In-house recipes guarantee the unmistakable taste of bread, baked goods, pastries and confectionery.
Artificial additives are "banned" at Müller&Gartner. Regional, natural, exquisite raw materials are preferred. In addition to the multi-award-winning "Handsemmel", the "Rebstöckl" is one of the many bread specialties on offer. Viennese winemaker Stefan Hajszan was looking for a unique counterpart to his wines for his Buschenschank (typical tavern) in the middle of the Reisenberg vineyards, similar in appearance to a vine and more substantial than traditional bread and pastries. The Rebstöckl was created from wheat flour, barley malt, sunflower seeds, sesame and linseed, supported by a very long dough maturing time.
Baked goods (from spelt sunflower loaves to Rebstöckl and Vitalkraftweckerl)
Danish pastries and confectionery (e.g. spelt apple turnover, apricot spitz, Powidlgolatschen, Gugelhupf, sponge roulade...)
Cakes and slices (e.g. country house cake, seasonal cardinal slices, Sacher cake, Esterhazy slices...)
