The Langer Mill is the only flour mill still in production in the Tullnerfeld and has a long tradition. The mill is around 700 years old and is run by the 4th generation of the Langer family. The flour is still produced in the traditional way in the existing mill. Since December 2021, the Langer Mill and several other craft mills have been recognized by UNESCO as "intangible cultural heritage".
The mill store "la müh la" sells handcrafted food and specialties with solid quality, strength and aura from Austria. It is important to the Langer family to raise consumer awareness and motivate them to scrutinize products. Baking courses are also offered.
The family business lives and loves craftsmanship and senses that the longing for regionality and down-to-earthness is becoming ever stronger: "We are on a quest for enjoyment that will be remembered."
