Vacations at the Mayerhof - stay overnight in a traditional farm atmosphere
The Mayerhof, run by the Mayer family in Aichau (municipality of Artstetten-Pöbring), offers authentic farm vacations in the southern Waldviertel - around an hour away from Vienna. The host family focuses on a family atmosphere, nature-based experiences and comfortable guest accommodation.
Two double rooms and a triple room are available, as well as a vacation apartment for families or groups (1-4 people). The rooms each have a separate anteroom, balcony, shower/WC, sitting area, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and bed linen/towels included. Breakfast is available on a half-board or full-board basis.
Breakfast consists of farm products such as jams, honey and free-range eggs. Common areas such as the dining room, reading and play corner as well as the garden and sunbathing lawn are open to all guests. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
Guests can actively participate in farm life - stable work, tractor rides, sowing to harvesting and animal feeding with ponies, goats, horses and other animals are on the program.
The Mayerhof offers a wide range of leisure activities for families: Outdoor pool, children's playground, trampoline, swing, cable car and slide are available on site.
