For Michael, viticulture is not just a way of life, but also a passion. As a child of this passion, he pays corresponding attention to his wines. The wines are shaped by their environment as much as by their upbringing. The concept can be summarized in a few key words: Regionality & authenticity combined with old vines, forgotten sites and the cool climate of the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" German) - granite and gneiss make their mark on the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" German) alongside the loess. As the vineyards also slope in various directions and thus develop different microclimates, there is a terroir diversity in a very small area that is second to none and offers ideal conditions for both Riesling and Grüne Veltliner. When growing the grapes and wines, Michael relies on a mix of tradition and innovation. These measures result in wines with character and a personal signature.
